Pairwise comparison matrices in the analytic hierarchy process and their application

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá maticemi v analytickém hierarchickém procesu. Cílem práce je představit matice párových porovnání užívané v analytickém hierarchickém procesu, charakterizovat jejich alternativní pojetí a ilustrovat jejich použití na příkladu. Mezi metody vědecké práce aplikované v tomto textu patří literární rešerše, matematické metody pro výpočet maximálního vlastního čísla matice a příslušného vlastního vektoru, syntéza těchto dílčích výsledků a také srovnání výsledných hodnocení získaných odlišnými postupy. Práce ukazuje formou praktických příkladů aplikaci rozhodovacího procesu, která vychází z teoretického zázemí.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with matrices in analytic hierarchy process. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the pairwise comparison matrices used in the analytic hierarchy process, to characterize their alternative concepts and to attach illustrative example of their use. The scientific methods applied in this thesis are literature research, mathematical methods for calculating the maximal eigenvalue of the matrix and corresponding eigenvector, synthesis of these partial results and comparison of the resulting assessments obtained by different procedures. Thesis presents the decision making process in practical examples of application, which is based on the theoretical background.
