Thermodynamic modelling of Ni-Se system

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na termodynamické modelování soustavy Ni-Se. Fázový diagram této soustavy je predikován pomocí metody CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagrams). Teoretická část práce obsahuje shrnutí teoretického základu termodynamického modelování a metody CALPHAD, popis výpočetního programu Pandat a základní informace o termodynamické databázi. Praktická část obsahuje popis soustavy Ni-Se a zaměřuje se na vytvoření termodynamické databáze a výpočet fázového diagramu této soustavy. K namodelování fázového diagramu soustavy Ni-Se byla použita známá experimentální data.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the thermodynamic modelling of the Ni-Se system. The phase diagram of this system is modelled using the CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagrams) method. The theoretical part of this work contains a summary of the theoretical background of thermodynamic modelling and the CALPHAD method, the description of the Pandat computational program and basic information about the thermodynamic database. The practical part contains a description of the Ni-Se system and focuses on the creation of a thermodynamic database and calculation of the phase diagram of this system. Known experimental data were used to model the phase diagram of the Ni-Se system.
