German paremiology as a didactic challenge.

Abstract:

This work deals with the German paremiology, i.e. German proverbs. It consists of two main parts, the first part is theoretical and the other practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the explanation of basic concepts, history of proverbs and mutual association between paremiology and phraseology. This section also processed motivation in foreign language pedagogy and general criteria of equivalence degrees of proverbs. The practical part describes the actual research of proverbs. It focuses on German proverbs teaching on the second grade of selected primary school, and the comparison of German and Czech proverbs. An important part of this work is the evaluation of the practical part and the summary of the whole work, as described in the conclusion. The aim of this work is to verify the knowledge of German proverbs in teaching German as a foreign language and to determine similarities and differences between German and Czech proverbs, based on the selected criterions.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá německou paremiologií, tedy německými příslovími. Skládá se celkem ze dvou hlavních částí, přičemž první část je teoretická a druhá praktická. Teoretická část je věnována vysvětlení základních pojmů, historii přísloví a vzájemné souvislosti paremiologie s frazeologií. V této části jsou také zpracována motivace ve výuce cizího jazyka a obecná kritéria stupňů ekvivalence přísloví. V praktické části je popsán vlastní výzkum přísloví. Jedná se o výuku německých přísloví na druhém stupni vybrané základní školy a také o srovnání německých a českých přísloví. Důležitou součástí této práce je také vyhodnocení praktické části a shrnutí celé práce, které je popsáno v závěru. Cílem této práce je ověřit znalost německých přísloví ve výuce němčiny jako cizího jazyka a stanovit podobnosti a odlišnosti německých a českých přísloví na základě zvolených kritérií.
