Motivation for volunteering

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám tématem dobrovolnictví a motivací k dobrovolnictví. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Část teoretická a část výzkumná. Diplomová práce se týká jednak základních informací o dobrovolnictví např. vymezuje pojem, uvádí druhy a typy dobrovolnictví. Dále se zabývá problematikou motivace k dobrovolnictví, poukazuje na pojmy jako prosociální chování, altruismus, potřeba nebo empatie. Druhá část diplomové práce prezentuje výzkum. Výzkumným cílem mé diplomové práce je zjištění struktury motivace u žadatelů o statut dobrovolníka a jejich komparace se současnými dobrovolníky.

Abstract:

In his thesis, I explore the theme of volunteering and the motivation for volunteering. The thesis is divided into two parts. Part of the theoretical and part of the research. The thesis applies both basic information about volunteering, for example defines the concept, species and types of volunteering. Further deals with motivation for volunteering, points to the concepts of prosociální behaviour, altruism, the need or empathy. The second part of the thesis presents the research. The research aim of my thesis is to determine the structure of motivation for applicants for the status of a volunteer and their comparison with current volunteers.
