Social aspects of suburbanization: a case study of Krásné pole

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je postihnout sociální strukturu obyvatel a sociální klima v obci Krásné Pole. Ve druhé polovině 90. let v obci započal proces suburbanizace, který svůj rozmach zaznamenal na přelomu tisíciletí, ale můžeme jej sledovat dodnes. Tento proces má dopad na sociální strukturu obyvatel. Zejména zvyšuje sociální rozdíly mezi obyvateli, což vede ke změnám sociálního klimatu. Tento jev má několik důvodů. Zejména pak rozdílný životní cyklus, rozdílný životní styl či tradice. V práci hodnotím především vliv těchto rozdílností a dalších atributu na vzájemné vztahy, které vznikají mezi původním obyvatelstvem a nově přistěhovalým. Dále pak zjišťuji míru zapojení nově přistěhovalých obyvatel do života a chodu obce a změny v obci spojené s jejich příchodem. Pro potvrzení tezí užiji metody dotazníkového šetření. Domnívám se, že proces integrace nových residentů do chodu obce je na dobré úrovni. Přesto by mohlo dojít k jejich většímu zapojení do celkového chodu obce, stejně jako do sdružení a uskupení působících v obci. Dále pak ve své práci hodnotím, zda se jedná o dvě zcela izolované skupiny nebo dochází k vzájemnému propojování těchto dvou skupin, např. formou vzájemné výpomoci, či při setkávání na akcích pořádaných v obci. Současné klima v obci budu posuzovat na základě dotazů směřovaných k respondentům. Zejména jejich hodnocení druhé skupiny či celkového pohledu na společné soužití.

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to describe the social structure of the population and the social climate in the village of Krasne Pole. In the second half of the 90s in the village began the process of suburbanization, which saw its boom at the turn of the millennium, but we watch it today. This process has an impact on the social structure of the population. Especially increasing social differences among the population, which leads to changes in the social climate. This phenomenon has several reasons. Especially different life cycle, different lifestyles and traditions. In particular, I evaluate the impact of these differences, and other attributes of the interrelationships that exist between the indigenous population and the new immigrant. Furthermore, I find the level of involvement newly immigrant population in the life and operation of the municipality and the changes in the village associated with their arrival. For confirmation of the thesis I will use a questionnaire survey. I believe that the process of integration of new residents into the village is running at a good level. Still, could lead to their greater involvement in the overall operation of the municipality, as well as to associations and groups operating in the village. Furthermore, in my work I evaluate whether they are two totally isolated groups or linking occurs between these two groups, eg. In the form of mutual assistance, or during meetings at events held in the village. The current climate in the village I will be judged on the basis of questions directed to respondents. In particular, their ratings of the second group, overall view of cohabitation.
