Sexual identity of teen characters in the TV series Euphoria and We Are Who We Are
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zobrazování sexuální identity teen postav v seriálové tvorbě a to konkrétně v seriálech Euforie a Jsme, jací jsme, které se žánrově řadí k dramatům o dospívání. Cílem této práce je vymezení pojmů sexuální identity a zjistit, jak jsou na jejím základě hlavní postavy zobrazovány. Důraz je kladen na fluiditu identit postav.
Abstract:
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the depiction of the sexual identities of teen characters in TV series, specifically in Euphoria and We Are Who We Are, which are both coming-of-age dramas. This work aims to define the concepts of sexual identity and find out how the main characters are portrayed within it. Emphasis is placed on the fluidity of the characters' identities.
