The Oil Price in Relation to GDP of USA and China and Selected Commodities

Abstract:

Téma diplomové práce, které jsem si osobně zvolil, je zaměřeno na popsání a měření vztahu mezi cenou ropy a hospodařením dvou největších spotřebitelů této komodity, jejich měn a vybraných komodit. Celé téma je rozděleno do šesti kapitol, které na sebe navazují tak, aby jejich sled postupně řešil dílčí části problému. Celý výzkum začíná velkým pohledem na celkový trh s komoditou, kde jsou jasně vymezena fakta o současném stavu. Druhá části je zaměřena na predikci trhu s ropu. Analýza hospodářských důsledků obou ekonomik ovlivněných komoditou je nastíněna porovnáním jejich klíčových makroekonomických veličin k ceně suroviny v kapitolách 3 a 4. Nejsou opomenuty možné vazby na domácí měny, analyzované v 5. kapitole. V závěrečné kapitole je definován vztah ceny ropy k dalším zdrojům energie – řepka, kukuřice, plyn. Každá kapitola je v závěru krátce hodnocena. Díky velkému počtu zpracovaných dat a číselných informací je práce pro zpřesnění popisovaných jevů a faktů doplněna četnými grafy, tabulkami a přílohami. Při realizaci byly zpracovány aktuální data a podklady předních mezinárodních a národních energetických agentur, a to prostřednictvím jejich výročních zpráv či webových stránek. Závěr práce hodnotí výsledky zkoumaných vztahů.

Abstract:

Thesis, which I have personally chosen aims to describe and measure the relationship between oil prices and the economy of the two largest consumers of commodities, their currencies and selected commodities. The whole topic is divided into six chapters which follow each other so that their sequence is gradually solved the partial problem. All research starts with a great view of the overall market for commodities, which are clearly set out the facts about the current state. The second part focuses on the prediction market for oil. Analysis of the economic consequences of both economies affected by commodity is outlined by comparing their key macroeconomic variables to the price of raw materials in Chapters 3 and 4. They are not left out possible links to the domestic currency, the analysis in Chapter 5. In the final chapter defines the relationship of oil prices to more sources of energy - canola, corn, gas. Each chapter is concluded shortly evaluated. Due to the large number of processed data and digital information to refine the work described phenomena and facts accompanied by numerous graphs, tables and appendices. The current implementation of the processed data and documentation leading international and national energy agencies, through their annual reports and web sites. The conclusion evaluates the results of the investigated relationship.
