Abstract:

Tématem práce je důkladná sonda do života a dramatické tvorby rakouského hluchoslepého básníka, dramatika a novináře Hieronyma Lorma, zakladatele Lormovy prstové abecedy. Práce dále reflektuje různé způsoby, kterými se o problematice hluchoslepoty pojednává v médiích napříč celým světem. Nedílnou část práce tvoří také aplikovaný výzkum, ve kterém je obsažena dramaturgická a scenáristická úprava jedné z Lormových her do formy vhodné pro inscenování se skupinou vybraných hluchoslepých herců.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis: "New ways of creative communication in relation to the legacy of Hiero-nymus Lorm and their application in media and theatre". It deals with plays written by deaf-blind author Hieronymus Lorm. The aim of the work is to compare different ways of how media inform spectators about deafblindness and which means of communication are used in different media. The thesis explicates characteristic motifs, certain styles and dra-matic situations, and describes how media use them. The second part of this work deals with the experience of the author with rehearsing a drama play with four deafblind actors.
