Text práce je rozdělen do dvou základních částí. Zatímco první část práce je teoretická a prezentuje odborná východiska právního ukotvení zaměstnání v obecní policii, druhá část práce je již praktická a na příkladu z praxe v podobě případové studie demonstruje a hodnotí aktuální podobu právního vědomí v obecní policii.
