Abstract:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of modern business. Employees, customers and shareholders expect more than simple deals from companies and take their CSR principles into account. The COVID-19 global crisis has changed conditions. In CSR, the focus has shifted from sustainability and environmental measures to support of employees and the community by the companies during the crisis. The aim of this work is to evaluate the modern approaches of the selected companies to the management of CSR strategy. Based on the comparison made on the selected sample of companies, the main areas of the modern CSR strategies are identified. Primary data are obtained in structured interviews with stakeholders of the selected company on the topic of changes in the modern approach to CSR and the common perception of CSR activities. Based on the results of the analysis, measures for the development of CSR programs of companies will be proposed.
