Mamzelle Nitouche - Comparison of Two Operetta Performances on the Stage of the Slezské divadlo Opava and the Moravské divadlo Olomouc

Abstract:

Opereta Mamzelle Nitouche je slavným komickým dílem francouzského operetního skladatele Florimonda Rongera, známého také pod pseudonymem Hervé. Jedná se o nejznámější dílo v jeho vrcholné tvorbě. V díle se objevují autobiografické prvky jeho mládí. Teoretická část bakalářské práce popisuje na základě získaných zdrojů a literatury pojem opereta, její vznik a historii. Dále mapuje život operetního autora Florimonda Rongera, jeho tvorbu a vznik operety Mamzelle Nitouche a její první nastudování na české scéně. Praktická část instruuje operetu v nastudování Moravského divadla Olomouc a Slezského divadla Opava. Na jednotlivá nastudování obou divadelních scén je konkrétně pohlíženo z pěveckého hlediska, režijního záměru a jevištního ztvárnění. V poslední části se práce zaměřuje na komparaci těchto dvou nastudování Rongerovy operety Mamzelle Nitouche.

Abstract:

The Operetta Mamzelle Nitouche is a famous comic work by the French operetta composer Florimond Ronger, also know under the pseudonym Hervé. It is the most famous work in his top creation. Autobiographical elements of his youth appear in the work. The theoretical part of the bachelor´s thesis describes the concept of operetta, its origin and history based on the abstained sources and literature. It also maps the life of the operetta author Florimond Ronger, his creation and creation of the operetta Mamzelle Nitouche and its first performance on the Czech stage. The practical part instructs the operetta staged by the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. The individual productions of both theatre scenes are specifically looked at from the point of view of singing, directorial intent, and stage performance. In the last part, the thesis focuses on the comparison of these two stagings of the Ronger´s operetta Mamzelle Nitouche.
