Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na bezpečnostní testování v IT, s hlavním důrazem na koncové stanice. V době rostoucích kybernetických hrozeb je zásadní chránit koncové stanice, které často představují jednu z nejzranitelnějších částí informačních systémů v organizacích. Práce se věnuje rozboru různých metod a nástrojů používaných pro bezpečnostní testování, včetně penetračního testování, které simuluje útoky s cílem identifikovat bezpečnostní slabiny. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy, jako jsou kyberbezpečnost, IT bezpečnost, penetrační testování a pracovní stanice, a jsou vysvětleny v kontextu potřeb moderních organizací. Praktická část práce demonstruje aplikaci vybraných testovacích metod na reálných koncových stanicích ve vybrané organizaci. Zkoumá se, jak efektivně identifikovat a řešit bezpečnostní hrozby a slabiny. Závěry práce nabízí doporučení pro zlepšení bezpečnostních opatření a postupy pro implementaci efektivních bezpečnostních strategií na pracovních stanicích.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on IT security testing, with a primary emphasis on endpoint devices. In the era of escalating cyber threats, it is crucial to protect endpoints, which often represent one of the most vulnerable parts of information systems in organizations. The thesis examines various methods and tools used for security testing, including penetration testing, which simulates attacks to identify security weaknesses. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic concepts such as cybersecurity, IT security, penetration testing, and workstations, and explains them in the context of the needs of modern organizations. The practical part of the thesis demonstrates the application of selected testing methods on real endpoints in a chosen organization. It explores how to effectively identify and address security threats and vulnerabilities. The conclusions of the thesis offer recommendations for improving security measures and procedures for implementing effective security strategies at workstations.
