Significant places of Christian history on Czech territory - Nepomuk
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je rozšířit znalosti o posvátných místech v Nepomuku. Práce se zaměřuje především na čtyři posvátná místa, kostel sv. Jakuba, kostel sv. Jana Nepomuckého, kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a cisterciácký klášter. V této souvislosti je pojednáno i o historii města a životě světců sv. Janu Nepomuckém a sv. Jakubovi.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor´s work is to increase knowledge of sacred places in Nepomuk. This work focuses primarily on four important monuments in the city of Nepomuk, the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, St. Jacob´s Church, Church of Assumption of Virgin Mary and vanished Cistercian monastery. The life of both saints- John of Nepomuk, St. Jacob and history of the city, is also briefly mentioned.
