Tick-borne encephalitis virus infection in primary human intestinal cells.
Abstract:
Klíšťová encefalitida (KE) je významné arbovirové onemocnění způsobené virem klíšťové encefalitidy (VKE). Přestože primárním způsobem přenosu je kousnutí klíštětem, obavy vzbuzuje i alimentární přenos konzumací nepasterizovaného mléka nebo mléčných výrobků z infikovaných přežvýkavců. Tato práce slouží jako prvotní studie srovnávající vysoce virulentní kmen Hypr a nízko virulentní kmen HB171/11. Pro …moreAbstract:
Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is a significant arboviral disease caused by the tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV). While the primary mode of transmission is through tick bites, alimentary transmission via consumption of unpasteurized milk or milk products from infected ruminants is also of concern. This thesis serves as an exploratory study comparing the highly virulent strain Hypr and the low-virulent …more
