Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá nacionálně jazykovou ideologií kokugo a její implementací na základních školách v Japonsku v letech 1906–1923. Jejím cílem je zodpovědět otázku, jak velký byl skutečný vliv Uedy Kazutošiho na jazykovou politiku Japonska v době jeho života, především co se prosazování jeho ideologie kokugo týče. Na základě analýzy primárních zdrojů, Uedových esejů a oficiálních čítanek, se tato práce snaží definovat základní rysy kokugo a následně zjistit, zda a v jaké míře se tyto rysy v čítankách vyskytují.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the national language ideology of kokugo and its implementation in primary schools in Japan from 1906 to 1923. Its aim is to answer the question of how great the real influence of Ueda Kazutoshi on the language policy of Japan during his lifetime was, especially with regard to the promotion of his kokugo ideology. Based on the analysis of primary sources, Ueda's essays and official primers, this work tries to define the basic features of kokugo and then find out whether and to what extent these features are found in the aforementioned primers.
