Práce stručně představuje dosavadní stav věcí v mezinárodním prostředí jižního Tichomoří. Dále pomocí geopolitických přístupů a metody red team analyzuje pozici a zájmy Čínské lidové republiky v asijsko-pacifickém regionu, včetně její rivality s USA a jeho spojenci. The thesis briefly presents the existing state of affairs in the international environment of the South Pacific. It then uses geopolitical approaches and red team method to analyse the position and interests of the People's Republic of China in the Asia-Pacific region, including its rivalry with the US and its allies.
