Ensuring the safety of employees working with aggressive clients

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zpracovává otázku, jak bezpečný je prostor Oddělení pobytových agend pro jeho zaměstnance, a to zejména při práci s agresivními klienty. K analýze současného stavu zajištění bezpečnosti zaměstnanců byly využity informace z dostupné literatury, volně přístupné právní předpisy a internetové zdroje. K ucelení informací z hlediska legislativní problematiky tohoto tématu bylo využito přístupu k různým závazným pokynům policejního prezidenta. Z důvodu menšího počtu zaměstnanců vybraného oddělení byla zvolena metoda výzkumu ve formě focus group, kdy bylo se zaměstnanci hovořeno otevřeně k tématu a byly kladeny otázky, které dopomohly k objektivnímu náhledu na současnou bezpečnostní situaci zaměstnanců. Důvodem volby této metody je i fakt, že tímto metodickým způsobem je možné shromáždit objektivnější informace, přičemž je kladen důraz na praxi zaměstnanců při výkonu práce. Zajištění bezpečnosti zaměstnanců pracujících s agresivními klienty se týká široké škály oborů a témat, jako jsou například osobní bezpečnost, objektová bezpečnost, agrese a agresivita. Výše uvedenou výzkumnou metodou bude zjištěno, zda je zajištění bezpečnosti zaměstnanců na uvedeném pracovišti dostatečné, jak ji případně zlepšit a jak předcházet konfliktům s agresivními klienty.

Abstract:

This bachelor`s thesis questions how safe the space in Residence Agenda Depatment is for its employees, especially when working with aggressive clients. Informations from available literature, freely accessible legislation and internet resources were used to analyse the current level of ensuring employees` safety. Binding instructions by the Police prisdent were also considered to complete information about legislative aspects of this topic. Due to the smaller number of employees at the given department, a research method of a focus group was chosen, whith these employees debating our topic and answering questions in order to achieve an objective view of the current safety situation. The reason for choosing this method is also the fact that it is possible to gather more objective information in this methodical way, with emphasis on the practice of employees in the performance of work. Ensuring the safety of employees who work with aggressive clients concerns a wide range of professions and topics, such as personal safety, security of buildings, aggression and aggressiveness. The used research method will determine whether ensuring employee`s safety at the indicated workplace is ensured sufficiently as well as how to improve it and prevent conflicts with aggressive clients.
