Predictive significance of MGMT promoter methylation in glioblastoma multiforme patients
Abstract:
Multiformní glioblastom je nejčastější a zároveň nejzhoubnější primární mozkový nádor dospělých. Medián přežití se pohybuje od 12 do 15 měsíců od stanovení diagnózy. Je to jeden z nejagresivnějších lidských nádorů. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM ) is the most common primary brain tumor in adults and also the most malignit tumor of glial origin. It is one of the most aggressive human neoplasms, with a median survival ranging from 12 to 15 months.
