Spatio-temporal reconstruction of landslide movements using tree-ring data

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na zkoumání sesuvné aktivity pomocí dendrogeomorfologických metod. Zkoumaný sesuv se nachází v lokalitě Hřebečovský hřbet. Oblast sesuvu byla zmapována a následně se vytvořila geomorfologická mapa. V rámci terénního výzkumu byly odebrány vzorky vrtných jader ze 74 stromů a v rámci referenční chronologie bylo vyvrtáno dalších 25 stromů. Vzorky byly následně laboratorně zpracovány a poté zkoumány. Zkoumání letokruhů bylo zaměřeno na růstové disturbance, jako reakční dřevo, a zúžené letokruhy. Byla zrekonstruovaná chronologická řada, která je dlouhá 83 let. Jako další se vypočítal It index, který nám udal 8 let, ve kterých proběhla sesuvná aktivita. Jednalo se o roky 1955, 1960, 1962, 1965, 1974, 1974, 1976 a 1977 přičemž největší aktivita bylo zaznamenána v letech 1955 a 1960. Výpočet rekurenčního indexu a následné zpracování nám ukázalo místa, kde byl sesuv nejvíce aktivní.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on examination of the landslide activity using dendrocheomorgological methods. Examined landslide is located on Hřebečovský hřbet. The landslide area has been mapped with the creation of geomorfological map. In the framework of field research, samples of drilling cores were taken from 74 trees, also 25 trees were drilled for the purpose of reference chronology. The samples were then processed and examined in the laboratory. The study of the tree rings was focused on growth disturbances such as reaction wood and reduction of the tree rings. Next the It index were calculated ad nit showed us 8 years in which the landslide activity occured. In particular, it was 1955, 1960, 1962, 1965, 1974, 1974, 1976 and 1977 in which year 1955 a 1960 were the most active. The calculation of recurrence index and transfer of result showed us locations where the landslide activity was the greatest.
