Consumer protection in dentistry

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ochranou spotřebitele, konkrétně je zaměřena na ochranu spotřebitele, v tomto případě pacienta, v jednom z lékařských oborů, ve stomatologii v České republice. Cílem této práce je provést analýzu informovanosti a spokojenosti pacientů se stomatologickou péčí v České republice. Práce obsahuje také dílčí cíle, jimiž jsou zpracování základního přehledu o právní úpravě ochrany spotřebitele a dále konkrétně vypracování shrnutí o ochraně spotřebitele ve stomatologii. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První částí je část teoretická, kde je vymezen právní rámec ochrany spotřebitele, zpracována problematika podávání stížností prostřednictvím České stomatologické a České lékařské komory. Součástí teoretické části je také krátká analýza současného stavu zubních lékařů na území České republiky. Poslední kapitolou teoretické části je problematika regulačních poplatků. Druhou částí je analytická část, která je podpořena částí teoretickou. V analytické části byl metodou dotazování proveden vlastní marketingový průzkum, který si kladl za cíl prověřit informovanost a spokojenost pacientů v České republice v rámci stomatologické péče.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is dealing with consumer protection and specifically focuses on consumer protection of patients in one of the medical fields, the dentistry in Czech Republic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the information awareness and customer satisfaction with dental care in Czech Republic. The thesis also contains sub-goals which are a summary of a basic overview of consumer protection legislation, followed by recapitulation of consumer protection specifically in dentistry. The thesis contains two parts. The first, theoretical part, defines legal framework for consumer protection, deals with issues with handling complaints via Czech Dental Chamber and Czech Medical Chamber. This part also includes short analysis of current condition of dentists in Czech Republic. Last chapter of this section is dealing with the problem of regulatory fees. Second part is mainly analytical and is supported by the theory from first part of the thesis. The aim of the analytical part was to check the awareness and overall patient satisfaction with the dentistry care in Czech Republic. The investigation was conducted by creating own market research via method of questioning.
