How biological children of foster parents experience foster care for a transitional period.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá prožíváním a změnami v životě biologických dětí pěstounů. Cílem práce bylo odpovědět na tři výzkumné otázky: Jak prožívají biologické děti pěstounů soužití s pěstounskými dětmi? Jak se biolog ickým dětem změnil život s příchodem pěstounských dětí do rodiny? Jak biologické děti vnímají pěstounské děti? Teoretická část popisuje rodinu, formy náhradní rodinné péče se zaměřením na pěstounskou péči. Pro zpracování této práce byl zvolen kvalitativní přístup. Podle určitých kritérií byl výzkumný vzorek zvolen záměrným výběrem a sestával ze čtyř respondentů. Data byla získána pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Rozbor a interpretace získaných dat byl proveden pomocí IPA metody (interpretativní fenomen ologická analýza). Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly , že biologické děti pěstounů při soužití s pěstounskými dětmi nejčastěji pociťují strach, stres, žárlivost, zklamání a nenávist. Změny jež nasta ly v životě biologických dětí pěstounů znamena ly časté konflikty, méně času a péče ze strany rodičů, změnu postoje vůči pěstounské péči. Výsledky dále ukázal y , že biologické děti pěstounů daleko raději přijímají malé děti, neboť s nimi nejsou problém y . Naopak větší děti odmítají, protože jsou konfliktní a zlobí.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the experiences and changes in the lives of biological children of foster parents. The aim o f the thesis was to answer three research questions: How do biological children of foster parents experience cohabitation with foster children? How did the life of biological children change with the arrival of foster children in the family? How do biologi cal children perceive foster children? The theoretical part describes the family, forms of substitute family care with a focus on foster care. A qualitative approach was chosen for the processing of this work. According to certain criteria, the research sa mple was selected by purposive sampling and consisted of four respondents. Data were obtained using a semi structured interview. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained data was carried out using the IPA method (interpretive phenomenological analy sis). The results of the research showed that biological children of foster parents most often feel fear, stress, jealousy, disappointment and hatred when living with foster children. The changes in the lives of biological children of foster parents that o ccurred meant frequent conflicts, less time and care from parents, and a change in attitude towards foster care. The results also showed that biological children of foster parents prefer to accept babies, because there are no problems with them. On the con trary, older children refuse because they are conflicted and angry
