Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na vymezení a objasnění pojmů hodnota pro zákazníka, hodnotový řetězec a hodnotová síť. Druhá část se týká distribučních mezičlánků jako subjektů hodnotové sítě, které mohou vykonávat různé funkce, kterými pomáhají zvýšit hodnotu pro zákazníka.
