Tato práce se zabývá doktrínou odpovědnosti velitele jako jedním z nejefektivnějších institutů, na základě kterého může být nadřízený v rámci ozbrojeného konfliktu shledán odpovědným. Práce nastiňuje historický vývoj této doktríny, zaměřuje se zejména na vývoj doktríny prostřednictvím judikatury tribunálů vzniklých po druhé světové válce a na první kodifikaci doktríny v roce 1977. The thesis is dealing with the doctrine of superior resonsibility, one of the most effective ways by which international criminal law can enforce responsible command.
