Analysis of the Japan Public Debt

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je veřejný dluh pojatý jak z teoretického hlediska, tak z hlediska jeho skutečného vývoje v Japonsku, z toho důvodu je práce dělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat veřejný dluh Japonska, popsat jeho vývoj a strukturu v posledních letech. Dále je hodnocena udržitelnost fiskálního vývoje do budoucna a identifikovány faktory nárůstu deficitů. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretický popis krátkodobé a dlouhodobé fiskální nerovnováhy. V druhé části je popis veřejných financí v Japonsku, analýza vývoje fiskální nerovnováhy ve 20. století a na počátku 21. století, názory na situaci v Japonsku a budoucí předpověď vývoje zadluženosti Japonska.

Abstract:

The subject of this diploma thesis is public debt from both the theoretical point of view and real point of view for Japan, thats why is my work divided into theoretical and practical part. The main goal of this work is to analyze public debt of Japan, describe the debts development and structure of debt in latest years. Further fiscal sustainability is assessed for the future and factors of debt increase are identified. First part of work is concerned on theoretic description of the short-term and long-term fiscal imbalance. In second part is description of public finances in Japan, analysis of fiscal imbalance development in 20century and at the beginning of 21century, opinions about situation in Japan and prediction on future debts development of Japan.The subject of this diploma thesis is public debt from both the theoretical point of view and real point of view for Japan, thats why is my work divided into theoretical and practical part.
