Attitudes of Czech society to the status of women in the job market

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Názory české společnosti k postavení žen na trhu práce se zabývá jedním z aktuálních problémů naší současné společnosti. Tuto problematiku řeší nejprve v teoretické rovině, kdy objasňuje cíle feministického hnutí, vymezuje základní pojmy, kterými jsou gender a genderová socializace, objasňuje stereotypy v současné společnosti, v rodinných i profesních vztazích a zároveň podmínky na současném trhu práce se zřetelem k možnostem uplatnění žen na něm. V praktické části jsou analyzovány výsledky výzkumného šetření, které bylo realizováno k názorům respondentů n možnosti uplatnění žen na trhu práce u nás a k některým vybraným souvisejícím otázkám.

Abstract:

The bachelor degree thesis entitled "The Opinions of the Czech Society about the Position of Women on the Labour Market" deals with one of the problems of the day existing in the society today. The topic is first described in the theoretical level explaining the objectives of the feminist movement, defining basic concepts gender and gender socialization, including the stereotypes of the current society in the family and occupation relationships, and likewise the conditions existing on the labour market today in view of the job opportunities for women. The practical part gives an analysis of the results of a survey conducted to get the respondents´ opinions about the women´s participation in the labour market in this country and about some other relating questions.
