Free time children and young people - prevention of negative phenomena - the problems of bullying at school

Abstract:

Válka na školním dvoře, násilí ve škole, šikanování a vydírání spolužáků, sexuální obtěžování, závažné trestné činy, dokonce i schvalování vraždy ? ničeho dnes nejsou děti a mladiství ušetřeni. Správné využití volného času jako nástroj v prevenci šikany. Škola spolu s rodiči, koordinátory, potažmo celou organizací preventivních programů působí jako opěrný bod celého systému v cestě proti násilí a agresivitě. Cílem výzkumu, respektive diplomové práce je zjistit jaký rozdíl je mezi městskými a vesnickými školami v prevenci a informovanosti ve věci šikany u žáků 8. a 9. ročníků základní školy.

Abstract:

War in the playgrounds and school yards, violence in the classroom, bullying and threatening classmates, sexual harassment, and an increase in violent crimes indicate that children and adolescents are often living in unsafe environments. As part of my diploma work, my goal is to research both city and village schools and examine and compare the methods of prevention they use to insure the safety of at risk groups, mainly those pupils in the 8th. and 9th. degree of elementary schools. I hope to see the effects of supervised free time, cooperation among schools and parents, and various other programs would form a support system to curb violence and aggression. Hopefully, the results I obtain could be implemented to address this problem.
