The recovery of sporting activity following a complex knee fracture: case report

Abstract:

This paper aims to apply to the clinical case, consisting of the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of a young and sporting subject, of a rehabilitation treatment, supported by the technique of proprioception and motor rehabilitation in water. Having previously examined the anatomical and physiological components of the joint, in addition to the underlying principles of the selected rehabilitation treatments, it will be possible to ascertain the effectiveness of the rehabilitation according to the therapeutic plan agreed with the orthopedist and completed, as expected, in five months.

Abstract:

Il presente elaborato si propone di applicare al caso clinico, costituito dalla rottura del legamento crociato anteriore di un soggetto giovane e sportivo di un trattamento riabilitativo, supportato dalla tecnica della propriocezione e della riabilitazione motoria in acqua. Esaminate preliminarmente le componenti anatomiche e fisiologiche dell'articolazione, oltre ai principi sottesi ai trattamenti riabilitativi prescelti, sar? possibile appurare l'efficacia della riabilitazione secondo il piano terapeutico concordato con l'ortopedico e terminato, come previsto, in cinque mesi.
