Bakalářská práce je složená ze dvou částí, teoreticko-metodologické a aplikační. Velká část teoretické části je zaměřena na stavební stroje pro zemní a skalní práce. Dále vysvětluje způsob provádění zemních prací a třídy těžitelnosti zemin. Obsahem první podkapitoly aplikační části je definování konkrétní stavby.
