Design and implementation of a tool for central management and monitoring of computers and applications

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na návrh a implementaci nástroje pro centrální ovládání a monitorování počítačů a aplikací. V úvodu je provedena rešerše existujících řešení, které jsou posouzeny s ohledem na konkrétní požadavky společnosti, pro kterou je tato práce vypracována. Rešerše odhalila nedostatky, které jsou v práci uvedeny, což vedle k definování komponent pro navrhovaný nástroj. Tyto komponenty jsou následně detailně popsány a implementovány. Praktické využití nástroje je demonstrováno na konkrétních příkladech a celý proces jeho tvorby je zhodnocen v závěrečné kapitole.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a tool for central management and monitoring of computers and applications. In the introduction, a research of existing solutions is conducted, which are assessed with respect to the specific requirements of the company for which this thesis is developed. The research reveals the shortcomings that are stated in the thesis, leading to the definition of the components for the proposed tool. These components are then described and implemented in detail. The practical use of the tool is demonstrated with specific examples and the whole process of its development is evaluated in the final chapter.
