Municipal waste management system in the territory of the cities of Tišnov and Kuřim

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá odpadovým hospodářstvím v obcích Tišnov a Kuřim. V první části je představen přehled řešené problematiky. Ve druhé části je zpracován popis systému nakládání s odpadem v zájmových obcích, který byl proveden na základě dat získaných od příslušných úřadů a svozových společností působících v Kuřimi a v Tišnově. Mezi sledované hodnoty patří množství vyprodukovaného komunálního odpadu, výtěžnost separovaných složek, dále příjmy a výdaje spojené s odpadovým hospodářstvím, a to v pětiletém období. Z výsledků vyplývá zvyšující se podíl separovaných složek na celkové produkci odpadů v obou obcích. Byla zjištěna vyšší výtěžnost separovaných složek a nižší náklady na odpadové hospodářství v Tišnově v porovnání s obcí Kuřim. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsou v závěru práce formulována doporučení pro zlepšení systému nakládání s komunálním odpadem v obou měst

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with waste management in the town of Tišnov and Kuřim.. In the first part, an overview of the treated problem is presented. In the second part, a description of the waste management system in the municipalities of interest is elaborated, which was obtained from the data of the relevant authorities and waste collection companies operating in Kuřim and Tišnov. The monitored values include the amount of municipal waste produced, the yield of separated waste components, as well as income and expenses related to waste management, over a five-year period. The results show an increasing share of separated waste components in the total production of waste in both municipalities. A higher yield of separated components and lower waste management costs were found in Tišnov compared to Kuřim. Based on the results found, recommendations for improving the municipal waste management system in both towns are formulated at the end of the thesis.
