Financial analysis of the company BOHEMIA ENERGY entity s.r.o.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je strukturálně rozdělena na první část ryze teoretickou, kde jsou rozebrány nejvýznamnější aspekty finanční analýzy, které jsou schopny komplexně zhodnotit společnost pomocí finančně-analytického aparátu. Druhá část je zaměřena na samotné zpracování finanční analýzy u konkrétní společnosti BOHEMIA ENERGY entity s.r.o. Nejprve jsou hodnoceny absolutní ukazatele a poměrové ukazatele doplněné o analýzu pracovního kapitálu a výpočet ekonomické přidané hodnoty. Detailní rozklad rentability vlastního kapitálu a modely predikce finanční tísně následně umožní celkový pohled na podnik a způsob jeho fungování. Na závěr jsou výsledky shrnuty a okomentovány v kontextu konkurenčního postavení v rámci daného energetického odvětví. Finanční analýza je sestavena za pětileté období od roku 2008 do roku 2012. Veškerá data jsou čerpána z veřejně dostupných zdrojů a k výpočtům jsou převzaty teoretické poznatky z domácí i zahraniční literatury.

Abstract:

The thesis is structurally divided into the first part purely theoretical, where are discussed the most important aspects of financial analysis that are able to comprehensively assess the company through financial and analytical apparatus. The second part is focused on the processing of financial analysis for a particular company BOHEMIA ENERGY entity s.r.o. First are evaluated absolute indicators and ratios complemented by an analysis of working capital and the calculation of EVA. Detailed breakdown of ROE and financial distress prediction models subsequently allow overall view of the company. In conclusion, the results are summarized and commented upon in the context of the competitive position within the energy sector. Financial analysis is prepared for the five-year period from 2008 to 2012. All data are from publicly available sources and calculations are taken to the theoretical knowledge of domestic and foreign literature.
