Burnout syndrome in employees of a specific corporate company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je teoretická analýza problematiky syndromu vyhoření. Právě teoretická část se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmů jako je stres, stresory, zátěžové situace či burnout syndrom – jeho definice, příznaky, projevy a především prevence. V teoretické rovině se práce zabývá také tím, jak syndrom vyhoření ovlivňuje celosvětová pandemie SARS-CoV-2 či práce z domova. Dalším tématem je vliv kreativity na syndrom vyhoření. Hlavním cílem práce je pomocí empirického šetření zjistit míru ohrožení tímto syndromem u vybraného pracovního týmu (Web content & Copywriting) konkrétní korporátní společnosti. Dílčím cílem je navržení doporučení pro prevenci a eliminaci syndromu vyhoření v daném organizačním prostředí.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis is a theoretical analysis of burnout syndrome. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of terms such as stress, stressors, stressful situations or burnout syndrome – its definition, symptoms, manifestations and especially prevention. The theoretical part of the thesis also deals with how burnout syndrome is affected by the global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic or working from home. Another topic is the influence of creativity on burnout syndrome. The main objective of the thesis is to determine the degree of exposure to this syndrome in a selected work team (Web content & Copywriting) of a specific corporate company by means of an empirical investigation. Another objective is to suggest recommendations for the prevention and elimination of this syndrome in the organizational environment.
