Locus of Control in Youth with Pathological Behavior

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Locus of Control u dospívajících s patologickými projevy chování na takové úrovni, kdy bylo nutné umístění jedince do pobytového střediska výchovné péče. V teoretické části jsou v rámci tří kapitol rozpracovány věcné informace. V první z nich se zaměřujeme na patologické projevy chování, jeho formy, etiologi, klasifikaci a možnostmi nápravy. Ve druhé kapitole teoreticky vymezujeme Locus of Control, stručnou historii tohoto pojmu a dáváme jej do kontextu s dalšími příbuznými osobnostními proměnnými, jako je motivace, nebo self efficace. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována interakci adolescence a Locus of Control. Praktická část práce se zabývá kvantitativním zkoumáním úrovně Locus of Control a patologickými projevy chování u dospívajících jedinců. Po metodologickém úvodu se zaměříme na statistickou část práce. Zde pracujeme se dvěmi skupinami dat, které byly získány od jedinců umístěných v pobytových střediscích výchovné péče a jedinců z přirozeného prostředí. Pro sběr dat byl užit Dotazník na měření internality a externality, a Dotazník rizikového chování adolescentů. Získaná data mezi sebou statisticky porovnáváme v kontextu stanovených hypotéz.

Abstract:

The presented thesis deals with Locus of Control in the context of adolescents with pathological behavior in juvenile correctional facilities. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The First of them includes factual information focused in the forms of, etiology, classification and possibility of redress of pathological behavior. The second chapter theoretically describes Locus of Control, brief history of this phenomenon and brings it into the background of another psychological and pedagogical variables as motivation or self - efficacy. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to Interaction Adolescence and Locus of Control and adolescence by itself from a biological view. The practical part focuses on a quantitative research level of Locus of Control and adolescents with pathological behavior. After a methodological introduction readers move to the statistical part. This uses two groups of data which were collected from individuals from juvenile correctional facilities and individual from population without obvious behavioral pathologies. For data collection were used two questionnaires. Internal external questionnaire and Adolescent risk behavior questionnaire. Data from those two groups are statistically compared between each other in context of stated hypothesis.
