Importance of Documentary Payments in International Trade

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je analýza problematiky dokumentárních plateb v zahraničním obchodě, konkrétně dokumentárního akreditivu a dokumentárního inkasa a jejich využití včetně výhod a nevýhod. První kapitola se zabývá charakteristikou zahraničního obchodu a platebního styku. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje dokumentární platbu a konkrétně dokumenty, které jsou nezbytným prostředkem pro uskutečňování tohoto platebního instrumentu. Třetí kapitola se zabývá podrobnou analýzou dokumentárního akreditivu, na kterou navazuje další kapitola, kde jsou shrnuty výhody a nevýhody akreditivu. Pátá kapitola je vyčleněna pro analýzu dokumentárního inkasa a poté následuje samotná kapitola shrnutí jeho výhod a nevýhod. Pro rizika v zahraničním obchodě je zvolena samostatná kapitola. Závěr práce pojednává o nových trendech v dokumentárním platebním styku.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of the issue of documentary payments in foreign trade. Specifically, documentary letters of credit and documentary collection and their use, including advantages and disadvantages. The first chapter deals with the characteristics of foreign trade and payments. The second chapter characterizes the documentary payment and specifically the documents that are a necessary means for the implementation of this payment instrument. The third chapter deals with a detailed analysis of a documentary letter of credit, which is followed by another chapter, which summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the letter of credit. The fifth chapter is set aside for the analysis of documentary collection, followed by the chapter itself, a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of documentary collection. A separate chapter is chosen for risks in foreign trade. The conclusion deals with new trends in documentary payments.
