Tato práce se zabývá určením optimálního počtu stavů skrytých semi-Markovských modelů využívaných při parametrické statistické syntéze řeči. This thesis focuses on determining the optimal number of states of hidden semi-Markov models which are used in statistical parametric speech synthesis. First part describes basic approaches to speech syntesis and the structure of hidden semi-Markov models is explained.
