The Private Paid Care for Children under Three Years

Abstract:

Po roce 1989 došlo ke snižování počtu státní institucionální péče o nejmenší děti. Proto se diplomová práce soustředí na téma péče o děti do tří let věku formou soukromé placené péče, a to z pohledu matek, které tuto službu péče využívají. V práce se zabývám rodinou politikou a jejími opatřeními na podporu rodin s malými dětmi a také možnostem slaďování pracovního a rodinného života. Zabývám se mateřskými centry, vymezením státní institucionální péče o nejmenší děti a soukromé placené péče o děti ve věku do tří let. Popisuji také preferenční teorii, která s tématem práce úzce souvisí.

Abstract:

After Velvet revolution a new problem arised: to ensure child care for children under three years. The thesis focused on this topic especially form of private paid care. It describes this care from mother’s view. I also discuss on family policy and state’s support for families with small children and describe different options of harmonizing family and work. I also describe mother’s centers, public children-care institutions for youngest children and private baby-sitters. In the thesis is chapter about the Theory of preference roles.
