Drug addiction among convicts in prison

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá drogovou závislostí ve věznici. Cílem této práce je zjistit celkový počet drogově závislých ve věznici, počet drogově závislých ve specializovaném oddělení a účinnost terapeutického programu pro drogově závislé ve věznici Všehrdy, zájem těchto odsouzených o znovuzačlenění se do společnosti s přispěním tohoto programu a je-li vůbec jakkoliv prospěšný tento program v životě odsouzených z jejich pohledu. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část nás seznamuje s pojmy jako je návyková látka, drogy, drogová problematika ve vězeňství, prevence, tresty za drogovou činnost a trestním právem. Následně jsou zde uvedeny druhy programů zacházení s důrazem na terapeutický program TP 21 a terapeutický program pro mladistvé muže TP 21 Junior. V praktické části je uvedena charakteristika věznice Všehrdy. Je zde popsán vzorek odsouzených, zařazených do terapeutických programů a prostřednictvím dotazníku je zde přiblíženo šetření mezi odsouzenými ať mladistvými či dospělými a následné vyhodnocení výsledků formou tabulek a grafů. V závěru práce je celkové shrnutí i návrhy na zlepšení práce terapeutických programů ve věznici Všehrdy.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with drug addiction in prison. The aim of this work is to determine the total number of drug addicts in prison, the number of drug addicts in a special unit and efficacy of a therapeutic program for drug addicts in prison Všehrdy. Interest on these prisoners reintegrate into society with the assistance of this program and if ever any beneficial this program in the life of convicts from their perspective. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part acquaints us with concepts such as an addictive substance, drugs, drug issues in prisons, prevention, punishment for drug activity and criminal law. Consequently, there are the types of treatment programs with an emphasis on therapeutic program TP 21 and therapeutic program for adolescents men TP 21 Junior. In the practical part characteristic Všehrdy prison. There is described a pattern of convicts enrolled in treatment programs and through a questionnaire survey is also approached the Convicts whether juveniles or adults, and subsequent evaluation of the results in tables and graphs. The conclusion is a summary of suggestions to improve the work therapy programs in prison Všehrdy.
