The goal of this master thesis is to experimentally investigate whether the perception of the future development of an economy could influence the endorsement of conspiracy theories. To obtain the necessary data, a questionnaire was created that divided 900 participants into three categories where two presented different economic scenarios – growth and recession and one remained as a control.
