The aim of the thesis is to provide comparison of selected philosophical theories dealing with scientific knowledge of reality. The paper focuses on the analysis of these selected theories with regard to searching for moments of crisis, which require changes in methodology of acquiring scientific knowledge. Cieľom diplomovej práce je podať porovnanie vybraných filosofických teórií vedeckého poznania skutočnosti. Práca je zameraná na rozbor týchto vybraných teórií vzhľadom na hľadanie krízových momentov, ktoré si vyžadujú zmenu metodológie získavania vedeckého poznania.
