Abstract:

Diplomová práce prezentuje průbeh restaurování části nástěnné malby "Obrácení sv. Augustina'" v kostele sv. Lamberta v Subenu (Rakousko). Jde o nástropní malbu nad varhanní kruchtou v západní části kostela, jejím autorem je tyrolský malíř Johann Jakob Zeiller. Diplomová práce sestává ze dvou částí. První část zahrnuje restaurátorský průzkům díla a dokumentaci provedeného restaurátorského zásahu. Druhá část se zabývá teoretickým a experimentálním výzkumem malířské techniky fresco, a to jak v teoretické, tak i experimentální rovině.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis presents the course of restoration of a part of the wall painting "The Conversion of St. Augustine" in the church of St. Lambert in Suben (Austria). It is a ceiling painting above the organ chancel in the western part of the church, its author is the Tyrolean painter Johann Jakob Zeiller. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part includes a restoration survey of the work and documentation of the restoration intervention carried out. The second part deals with the theoretical and experimental research of the fresco painting technique.
