The Moravian Karst - Labyrinth of Recognition

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem MUZEUM BLANSKO - "Moravský kras - labyrinty poznání" po svém úvodu pojednává v první kapitole o historii a vzniku muzejnictví v Blansku a okolí s přihlédnutím na vznik krasových muzeí a mapuje zde také dějiny blanenského muzejnictví od roku 1854 do současnosti. Ve druhé kapitole jsou přiblíženy jednotlivé expozice muzea Blansko, jejich odborné zaměření a dokumentační činnost. Expozice jsou rozděleny do celkem pěti koncepčních celků. 1. Dokumentace a dějiny výzkumu Moravského krasu: o tuto oblast je pečováno formou správy muzejního sbírkové fondu Moravský kras, prezentací stálé expozice "Moravský kras" a archivního fondu dokumentačních materiálů (mapy a výzkumné zprávy). 2. Pravěké a ranně středověké hutnictví železa na území Blanenska a střední části Moravského krasu: muzeum plní tento bod programu prezentací stálé expozice "Nejstarší hutě", která byla otevřena v roce 1986 jako výsledek dvacetiletého archeologického výzkumu, prováděného Okresním muzeem Blansko. Jde o jedinečnou expozici tohoto druhu v České republice, která je především využívána školami k názorné výuce. 3. Historie železářství a výroby užitkové a umělecké litiny 19. a 20. století: tato činnost muzea je jejím profilovým programem, který provází činnost muzea od jeho založení, především pak od otevření nových opravených prostor zámku v roce 1969. Od roku 1997 zde došlo k podstatnému rozšíření a modernizaci a otevření stálé expozice " Dekorativní a užitková litina 19. a 20. století". Jsou zde prezentovány výrobky blanenských železáren, ale litina je pojata v kontextu Českého a středoevropského železářství. 4. Historie výroby měřící techniky: jde o nový obor, o njž byl od počátku roku 1998 rozšříen statut muzea. Muzeum zde prezentuje a shromažďuje předměty a písemné materiály dokumentující a dokládající vývoj i historii výroby měřící techniky jako průmyslové tradice města Blanska, založené v roce 1911 významným vynálezcem ing. Erichem Roučkou. 5: Dějiny a současná dokumentace města Blanska: stálá expozice je věnována dějinám města Blanska, prezentací základní fotodokumentace města, spolkových prapor, historických obraz, map, archeologického materiálu. Dále se v této práci zaměřuji na vědeckovýzkumnou, metodickou, dokumentační a kulturní činnost muzea. V závěru diplomové práci nastiňuji problematiku muzea ve vztahu k oblasti Moravského krasu a vztah a vzájemné propojení človka, krajiny a přírody.

Abstract:

Annotation This diploma work entitled The Museum of Blansko the Moravian Karst Labyrinth of Recognition introduces after its prologue the first chapter, which discusses about history and origin of the museum of city of Blansko and its surroundings with a consideration for the origin of karsts museums. This part also surveys the history of museum of city of Blansko since 1854 until today. The second chapter states individual expositions of museum of Blansko, theirs special orientation and documented activity. The displays are divided into five components. 1. Documentation and history of the research of the Moravian Karst: Of this area is taken care by Board of collecting fund of the Moravian Karst museum, which exhibits the permanent display called The Moravian Karst and an archive fund of documentary data (maps, research) 2. Prehistoric and early medieval ferrous metallurgy on the territory of Blansko and the middle part of the Moravian Karst: The museum fulfils this point of agenda by a presentation of the permanent exposition named The Oldest Iron-mills, which was opened in 1986 after twenty years of archaeological research provided by the District Museum of Blansko. This kind of exposition is unique in Czech Republic, and it is especially made use by schools for illustrated education. 3. History of ferrous metallurgy and manufacture of utility and artistic cast-iron in 19. - 20. century: This museum activity is a part of the profile scheme which has gone along with an activity of the museum since the establishment, in particular from the opening after the reconstruction of the local castle in 1969. Since 1997 there has been come true significant modernization, expansion and the permanent exhibition named The Decorative and Utility Cast-iron of 19. 20. century has been opened. There are showed products of ferrous metallurgy of city of Blansko, however, the cast-iron is conceived in context of Czech and middle European ferrous metallurgy. 4. History of manufacture of measuring technology: Measuring technology is a new field which has expanded a status of the museum since 1998. There are collected and displayed articles and written documents illustrating development as well as history of measuring technology as industrial tradition of city of Blansko, which was established by a notable inventor engineer Erich Roucka in 1911. 5. History and contemporary documentation of city of Blansko: This permanent exhibition is devoted to history of city of Blansko, which is represented by basic photo documentation of the city, union banners, historical paintings, maps, and archaeological documents. Further in this diploma work, I focus on research, methodology, documented and cultural activity of the museum. In conclusion, I mention an issue of connection and interaction among the territory of the Moravian Karst, human being, landscape, and nature.
