Design of 10 ideological posters (B1).

Abstract:

V průběhu své bakalářské práce jsem navrhla sérii deseti ideových plakátů ve formátu B1, což je zkratka pro 100 x 70 cm. Fatální porušování lidských práv, stejně jiné jako problémy jsou již dlouho v centru pozornosti. Zabývala jsem se tématy: mrzačení ženských pohlavních orgánů, hladovění ve světě, fyzické a psychické zneužívání dětí a diskriminací. Prostřednictvím svých plakátů chci podnítit diváka k přemýšlení o situaci ostatních lidí a působit na změny, protože podle mého názoru, nevědomosti, stejně jako nedostatek porozumění k jiným kulturám a tradicím, jsou nejdůležitější faktory, které způsobují tyto problémy. Moje plakáty mají být impulsem k uvědomování sounáležitostí mezi lidmi. Mými plakáty jsem se pokusila o jednoznačný vizuální vzkaz.

Abstract:

In the course of my bachelor-thesis I designed a poster serial consisting of ten posters dealing with the subject "ideally concept-posters", in format B1, which stands for 100 cm multiplied by 70 cm. Fatal violations of human rights, as well as problems that have been known since a long time are in the centre of attention. I dealed with different subject areas: female genital mutilation, world hunger, physical and psychic abuse of children and discrimination. Through my posters I want to encourage the beholder to think about the situations of other people and if so to cause changes, because in my opinion, ignorance as well as a lack of understanding towards other cultures and traditions are the most important factors that cause these problems. My posters are supposed to stand for a first impulse of improvement. In each case I used topic orientated object and tried to emphasize defined emotions by using specific colour, to put over the situation of the affected people and to make the beholder stand a chance to empathize for better understanding in some degree. On several posters the use of typography was indispensable, because otherwise there is the possibility of misinterpretation of the posters. In contrast to that other posters put over an unambiguous message through their picture language.
