Široce využívanou a efektivní metodou pro charakterizaci funkce cílového genu v genomu se již před několika lety stala inzerce T-DNA. T-DNA insertion has become a widely used and effective method for characterisation of target gene functions several years ago. A number of effective methods provide transport of foreign gene into plant cells. One of these is Agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated transformation.
