Selection Interview Content and Outputs Expectations in IT

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu očekávání v rámci výběrového pohovoru v IT prostředí na trhu práce ve městě Brně. V rámci modelu, kdy při získávání zaměstnanců využívá klient služeb externí agentury, která se zaměřuje pouze na přímé vyhledávání zaměstnanců, vstupují do výběrového pohovoru tři strany. Těmito stranami jsou klient, recruiter a kandidát. Účelem diplomové práce je odhalit jejich rozdílná očekávání od obsahu, průběhu a výstupech v rámci výběrového pohovoru. Tato očekávání jsou odhalena pomocí sady polo – strukturovaných rozhovorů s jednotlivými zúčastněnými stranami. Přístup k výzkumu a volba jeho metody je diskutována v metodologické části, která navazuje na teoretické ukotvení pojmů důležitých pro diplomovou práci. V rámci analytické části jsou získaná data interpretována a analyzována pro účel odpovědí na vedlejší výzkumné otázky a výzkumnou otázku hlavní. Na analytickou část navazuje závěr, který shrnuje získané poznatky a dává návod k podobě výběrového pohovoru, který by nejlépe odrážel očekávání zúčastněných stran.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the analysis of expectations in the recruitment interview in the IT environment in the labour market in Brno. Within the model where during the recruitment client uses the services of an external agency, which focuses only on direct search of employees, three parties are entering the recruitment interview. These parties are a client recruiter and candidate. The purpose of this thesis is to reveal their different expectations from the content, progress and outcomes in the selection interview. These expectations are revealed through a set of semi - structured interviews with different stakeholders. Approach to the research and selection of its method is discussed in the methodology section, which builds on a theoretical stipulation of important concepts for a thesis. The analytical part the acquired data analysed and interpreted in order to answer the research questions and the main research question. The analytical part is followed by a conclusion that summarizes the lessons learned and gives instructions to the form of the recruitment interview, which would best reflect stakeholder’s expectations.
