Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na nejmladší generaci nejvýraznějších akčních umělkyň v teritoriu Jihomoravského kraje. Jedná se o Barboru Klímovou, Kateřinu Šedou, Moniku Fryčovou a Kateřinu Olivovou. V úvodní části jsou stručně rozebrány souvislosti současného akčního umění ve světě a na území České republiky Cílem je zmapování života a díla vybraných umělkyň. Je zpracován přehled a proveden pokus o žánrové třídění jejich projektů a prací. V práci je řešena otázka nalezení společných momentů v tvorbě vytipovaných umělkyň, ale také toho, co a proč je odlišuje. To co je spojuje, je gender, věk, místo, kulturní a umělecký kontext. Proto prozkoumání odlišností, jejich individuálního zaměření a odlišného přínosu bylo pro vytvoření práce klíčovým. Práce se zabývá mírou ideovosti a myšlenkovou hloubkou, mírou systematičnosti nebo nahodilosti jejich organizovanosti či spontánnosti, racionality a senzuality. Hledá souvislosti s jejich životními mezníky a událostmi ve vztahu k místům jejich tvorby. U každé umělkyně je nastíněna komparace s umělkyněmi předchozích generací. Závěr práce se zabývá hledáním motivací a smysluplností jejich tvorby.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the youngest generation of the most significant female action artists in the territory of the South-Moravian district: Barbora Klímová, Kateřina Šedá, Monika Fryčová and Kateřina Olivová. In the introduction, the thesis shortly deals with the context of contemporary action art in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to create an overview of the lives and works of the selected artists, as well as as to attempt a genre-based categorisation of their projects and works. The thesis deals with the moments that are common to all the selected artists, as well as with the difference that separate them. They are connected by gender, age, location, and the cultural & creative context. Therefore, the exploration of their differences and individual focuses was essential. The thesis deals with their idealisms, thoughtfulness, their systematic and randomised approaches, as well as their rationalities and sensualities. It looks for the connections between their life milestones, and the events connecting their work. Each artist is compared to the artists of the preceding generation. The conclusion of the thesis deals with motivation and meaning behind their work.
