Migration and integration of foreigners on the territory of the Czech republic in 2024-2022

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je systematicky zhodnotit rozsah migračních toků směřujících do České republiky v období let 2014 až 2022, především s důrazem na administrativní procesy, sociální integraci a bezpečnostní otázky a s identifikací potenciálních zásadních změn v migračních trendech. Teoretická část nastiňuje na základě literární rešerše téma migrace a integrace cizinců, zahrnující definici klíčových pojmů, ekonomické teorie migrace a problematiku integrace cizinců v České republice, včetně migrační a azylové politiky. Praktická část práce je zpracována na základě komparativní analýzy dat týkajících se migrace a integrace cizinců v České republice za roky 2014 až 2022, čímž přináší nový vhled do této problematiky. Součástí samotné práce jsou i národohospodářská doporučení týkající se efektivnějšího průběhu migrace a integrace cizinců na daném území. Výsledky práce naplňují stanovený cíl a poukazují na významné fluktuace v počtu příchozích cizinců, které reflektují citlivost migrantů na změny v globálním prostředí, zejména v kontextu externích faktorů, jako jsou pandemie a geopolitické události.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to systematically assess the extent of migration flows to the Czech Republic between 2014 and 2022, with a particular focus on administrative processes, social integration and security issues, and to identify potential fundamental changes in migration trends. The theoretical part outlines the topic of migration and integration of foreigners on the basis of a literature search, including the definition of key terms, economic theories of migration and the issue of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic, including migration and asylum policy. The practical part of the thesis is based on a comparative analysis of data on migration and integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic for the years 2014 to 2022, thus providing new insights into this issue. The thesis itself also includes national economic recommendations for a more effective migration and integration of foreigners in the territory. The results of the work meet the stated objective and point to significant fluctuations in the number of incoming foreigners, which reflect the sensitivity of migrants to changes in the global environment, especially in the context of external factors such as pandemics and geopolitical events.
