Cílem této práce je charakterizovat systémy nemocenského a důchodového pojištění v České republice a ve Francii a nalézt podobnosti a odlišnosti sociálního zabezpečení obou zemí. Důraz je kladen zejména na poskytované dávky a financování. Práce je rozdělena do několika kapitol, ve kterých jsou popsána pravidla pro nárok na dávky pojistných systémů a pro určení jejich výše. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the systems of sickness insurance and pension insurance in the Czech Republic and in France and to find similarities and differences concerning the social security in both countries.
