Musical means of expression in modern popular music
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce rozebírá vybrané problémy z melodiky a harmonie v populární a jazzové hudbě, které dokládá názornými příklady a dále je vysvětluje. Podrobně se věnuje především tónovému materiálu (stupnicím), akordům, harmonickým funkcím a vztahům mezi nimi. Snaží se nabídnout, nejen začínajícím hudebníkům, východiska uplatnění konkrétních otázek v hudební praxi.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis discusses selected issues of melodics and harmony in the area of popular and jazz music, shows illustrations which are further explained. In detail it focuses mainly on the tonal material (scales), chords, harmonic functions, and relations between them.
