Idioms and Metaphors in the German-languague children's literature

Abstract:

The content of the thesis „Metaphorik und Idiomatik in der gegenwärtigen deutschsprachigen Kinderliteratur“ is idiomatics and metaphorics in contemporary German literature for children. In the theoretical part is sketched out the history of literature for children, especially fantasy. The basic terms of idiomatics and metaphorics are characterised here as well. The fundamental of the practical part is interpretation and analysis of phrases picked out from the book „Tintenherz“ written by the German author Cornelia Funke. In the end there are summarised and evaluated used phrases.

Abstract:

Obsahem diplomové práce „Metaphorik und Idiomatik in der gegenwärtigen deutschsprachigen Kinderliteratur“ je idiomatika a metaforika v současné německé dětské literatuře. V teoretické části je naznačen vývoj dětské literatury, zvláště fantasy. Také jsou zde charakterizovány základní pojmy idiomatiky a metaforiky. Základ praktické části tvoří vlastní interpretace a analýza frazeologismů vybraných z knihy „Tintenherz“ od německé autorky Cornelie Funkeové. Závěr práce shrnuje a hodnotí použité frazeologismy.
