Adequacy of the information for the Czech National Bank in ensuring financial stability

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá adekvátností informací České národní banky při plnění její základních funkcí se zaměřením na zajištění finanční stability. Práce vychází z informací, které jednotlivé centrální banky zveřejňují na svých oficiálních webových stránkách. K tomu, abychom jsme byli schopni splnit cíl práce, tak jsme si vymezili pojem „finanční stabilita“ a na základě něho formulovali důležité informace k zajištění finanční stability. V posledním kroku jsme zvolili metodu komparace metodiky sběru dat a rozsahu dat u centrálních bank České republiky, Eurozóny, USA, Velké Británie a Japonska. Přínos této práce spočívá ve vyhodnocení současného způsobu sběru dat a druhu dat u České národní banky. Zároveň poskytuje pohled na nové možností ve sběru dat a druhu dat a jejich využití ve směru zajištění finanční stability.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the adequacy of the information of the Czech National Bank in fulfilling its basic functions with a focus on ensuring financial stability. The work is based on information that individual central banks publish on their official websites. In order to meet the main goal of this thesis, we have defined the term "financial stability" and have formulated important information to ensure financial stability. In the last step, we chose the method of comparing the methodology of data collection and data range with central banks of the Czech Republic, Eurozone, USA, Great Britain and Japan. The benefit of this work is the evaluation of the current data collection and data type at the Czech National Bank. At the same time, it provides insight into new opportunities in data collection and data type and use in the direction of ensuring financial stability.
